VI Adjusters is an independently owned loss adjusting, claims and risk management firm operating throughout the Caribbean region.
Our goal is to facilitate a comprehensive loss adjusting and risk management service in support of regional and international reinsurers/insurers/brokers/agents.
We are committed to providing a professional and quality service primarily focused on prompt and accurate claim settlements. Operating from the Bahamas, we handle assignments directly or with the support of our network of affiliates.
Leadership
Julian Worthington
Managing Director and Founder
Formerly a Director, Country and Regional manager for international adjusting firms, he has 30 years of experience in property and BI, casualty, construction, renewable energy and specie claims, together with industrial risk surveying. He has considerable experience of CAT adjusting in the Caribbean and other regions.
Martin Thackray
Operations Director and Founder
He has over 30 years of experience within the Caribbean insurance claims market for both insurers and loss adjusters, with extensive skills in the management of CAT events. He is a qualified college lecturer with an HNC in Automotive Engineering and Management and continues his professional development in the areas relating to alternative power sources.
David Owen
Technical Director
A Chartered Loss Adjuster and Insurance Practitioner, he has over 40 years of adjusting experience gained with both global and niche adjusting firms. A seasoned CAT adjuster, with his most recent assignment being the Auckland floods.

He is an experienced multi-lingual adjuster and claims manager, with various certifications, accreditations and licences, including a USVI adjusting licence. He is also a Notary Public.
